Blog 4 - A Glimpse of the Past
Good afternoon, dear students. In today’s possible the most boring blog of my teaching history, I will teleport to several moments in the past since these periods could possibly answer many of my questions regarding how certain things were created. Babylon (4000 BC) I have been always curious about the thinking process of building bridges. It’s such a mind-blowing thing, if you ask me, to connect one point to another by means of sturdy, heavy materials such as rocks, metal beans, clay, etc. and to not die in the process. If you ask me, it would have never occurred to me that through blending, cutting, adapting certain materials by following mathematical calculations would lead me to resolve this problem. As a matter of fact, the first attempts of creating these paths were done in the Babylon civilization. Hello teacher, I really liked your post, and I think it is a fantastic idea to travel to a place as far from Chile as China and also get to know its culture and its complex language.

hello teacher, that was a very interesting blog, to be honest, I would be scared to visit a country like China, because it is like visiting a totally different world, where all the things we are used to, are totally different, but overall it would be a very nice experience to live

Hello teacher, like you, I am also very interested in China and I even thought about studying Mandarin Chinese, but I gave up when I saw how difficult it is for me, but I would still like to travel to see different landscapes and try a lot of its gastronomic culture.

Hi teacher, this post make me reconsider about travel to another countries and maybe living there. I always feel so overwhelmed to leave Chile, but also found this idea very atractive for all the oportunities and lifestyles that brings the experience . Now i'm one step closer to dare me do it in the future.

Hello teacher! I think that it's so interesting to know another culture and language, in especiffic the chinesse one. For me its so dificult to learn another leanguage, So congratulations for your hability and interest to learn english and chinesse!

ResponderEliminarHello teacher, I find it incredible that you’re interested in learning about the history of China, which allows you to understand who they’re and have an open mind to try to understand them as a society. I believe that this understanding of learning from the most ancient of their culture to these times allows us to leave behind certain stereotypes and prejudices that we place on cultures so distant and different from ours. ResponderEliminarSometimes I watch an American youtuber "xiaomany" who speaks in different dialects and people are amazed by his pronunciation.
